Job Summary:

Develops and manages agency/broker relationships including the development of new business and retention of existing business in a territory. Reviews, analyzes, quotes or declines policies within letter of authority granted by capacity partner(s). Serve as liaison with company personnel regarding opportunities and problem resolution.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepares and develops premium quotations utilizing underwriting guidelines within letter of authority.
  • Determines underwriting eligibility for prospective policyholders and develops appropriate pricing for new business, renewals, and endorsements.
  • Analyzes and reviews prospective accounts for insurability and accepts or rejects within letter of authority.
  • Develops and manages agency relationships.
  • Addresses agents’ and policyholders’ concerns/needs.
  • Responsible for development of new business, profitability and retention of existing business in a given territory.
  • Explains and emphasizes benefits of company insurance products and services to customers.
  • Works with all internal departments to resolve problems and maintain company relations.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of five years experience in an insurance organization with demonstrated technical knowledge in one or more of the following areas: underwriting, marketing, loss prevention, auditing or similar knowledge that provide the necessary skills and abilities. Workers compensation or P&C insurance experience required.
  • Ability to exercise advanced judgment skills in evaluating and determining the proper pricing for prospective policyholders using underwriting guidelines by accepting or rejecting risks for the purposes of issuing workers’ compensation insurance coverage.
  • Ability to manage agency relationships and demonstrated ability to make sound underwriting decisions.
  • Advanced knowledge of appropriate jurisdictional workers compensation laws.
  • Ability to calculate expected pricing, dividends, and premium quotations for agents and policyholders.
  • Ability to analyze territory in order to identify problems and take the appropriate corrective action.
  • Ability to comprehend the consequences of various problem situations and address them or refer them for appropriate decision making.  
  • Ability to effectively exchange information clearly and concisely, and present ideas, reports, facts and other information, and respond to questions as appropriate.

Job Summary:

As a Customer Success Manager at CompScience you will support our MGA, Wholesalers and SaaS customers by ensuring an optimal customer journey. This position is critical to ensuring our high level of customer satisfaction is maintained. You will be responsible for building strong relationships with our customers, ensuring their success and satisfaction with our safety programs. You will be the primary point of contact for our customers and will work closely with our sales and product teams to ensure that their needs are met.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in customer success, account management, or related roles, preferably in a B2B SaaS environment.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Senior Front-End Engineer to join our development team. This individual will play a critical role in building a set of smooth, modern, and customer facing applications to fulfill our mission to increase worker safety and save lives.  The role will require the formulation of a forward strategy for our apps based on a solid analysis of our current technical debt and tech stacks. The ideal candidate should be hands-on and proficient in React, Material.io for styling, and TypeScript. They should also be comfortable analyzing existing code, extracting patterns, and driving the creation of a reusable component library. Experience with testing applications across multiple browsers and familiarity with API design are essential. Additionally, the ability to support React Native for mobile native applications is a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Formulate our front-end development strategy and go-forward plan to support business and customer requirements.
  • Analyze and refactor existing codebases across multiple front-end applications.
  • Consolidate various tech stacks into a unified stack using React, Material.io, and TypeScript.
  • Identify and extract reusable patterns and components, leading the development of a comprehensive component library.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment.
  • Ensure cross-browser compatibility and resolve any browser-specific issues.
  • Participate in API design and ensure proper integration of front-end with back-end services.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality, responsive, and performant front-end code.
  • Conduct code reviews and mentor junior front-end developers.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in front-end development.

Requirements:

  • BSc in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in front-end development.
  • Proficiency in React/React Native, Material.io, and TypeScript.
  • Strong experience in analyzing and refactoring existing codebases.
  • Demonstrated ability to create and maintain reusable component libraries.
  • Solid understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and solutions.
  • Familiarity with API design and integration.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment with offshore teams.

Lead a Functional Design

  • Create and present a detailed design document for a selected functionality, outlining the implementation plan and design considerations.

Document current state

  • Provide an Analysis of Current State of the Front-End and Tech Stacks

90  Days – Leadership & Optimization

Provide a Strategy Going Forward on How to Create Reusable Library Components

  • Develop a strategic plan for building a reusable component library, including best practices, design principles, and implementation guidelines.

Continue to lead Front-End Design

  • Continue to provide design guidance for front-end and structure work plans to evolve front-end implementations to new strategy
